It's always worrying when people try to offload killings on to the mentally ill, not like they got enough problems without the fear that if they tell people about their illness everyone will think they're dangerous when they're not.

Well that isn't really what I meant, you've taken it out of context. I'm not suggesting only the mentally ill kill people.

A lot of people have this issue where they feel if someone does something "bad", they deserve something "bad" in response.

They ignore context and the situation. If the person was mentally ill, and that's why they did what they did, how is it "just" that they be injured or killed?

you said it takes a special brand of crazy. when beheading is usually done by perfectly sane people.

in fact i reckon one cartel massacre in Mexico contains more beheadings than every beheading performed by a mentally ill person for the last few decades.

especially now they've started competing to see who can dump the most heads at once.

think the last one was a good 30+

Crazy doesn't necessarily mean mental illness though, or at least to the extent where they aren't sane or rationalising what they're doing! I think the way cartels carry on is crazy, for example.

They would be extremely psychopathic and or sociopathic to do such things, which is a form of mental disorder, but it doesn't mean that they aren't "sane" as such.
