This is the invite image clearly displaying two phones one with an X and the other with a G. A watch is displayed too. Therefore it seems obvious exactly what will be shown at the event.

Pretty exciting event for people I would assume as many seem to be fans of these devices. The Moto G and X are both held in pretty high regard as quality products and there seems to be many people after the Moto 360.

So... September counts as "later this summer"?

Moto X+1? New Moto G? Moto 360 obviously... but what's the earpiece?

Well most of September does count as summer so I guess they weren't lying.

The earpiece is a bit of a mystery, guess we will have to wait and see. The image all but confirms the successors to the MotoX and the MotoG will be there.

Not sure on whether there will be a livestream. Wait and see I guess.

I think it might be a new wearable, but will see.

Going to be an exciting few days, hopefully Google makes it move soon aswell so we can see whats coming in the form of Nexus/Android silver.

Expecting a BS release of US only :(

If they do that this year too I think Ill go with the new Sony Z3-Compact for this year. Hopefully they have learnt, guess it's just a case of wait and see.

Looking around it sounds as though we may actually have to wait till tomorrow for all the details. I'm seeing mentions that it's actually a private press event with no details coming out till tomorrow.

Looks like it's a good deal bigger but battery remains the same size as the previous Moto X. Never fear, they're selling a a battery pack to recharge on the go

Battery has a bigger screen to run in the new model. I've never had too many probs getting through the day with the Moto X but it could be tight if I'd been in a low signal area. I thought they might have put a bigger battery in.

Very early days but not too impressed yet. Not impressed enough to want to swap my current Moto X. Probably worth sitting tight and see what the rumoured Nexus X is like?

I would say so a 2300mAh battery is pretty frustrating when other flagships get 3100mAh+. The MotoG looks like a really nice upgrade though, seems a better design and has front facing stereo speakers which is amazing for such a cheap device.
