New Gaming Mouse

Hi all,

I've been using the Tt eSports Theron 5600 DPI Gaming Mouse for the past 3-4 years now and I've noticed that my mouse scroll does this weird thing where when I scroll down, it moves the page up and then down instead of just down. It's becoming quite annoying so I decided to get a new gaming mouse.

Unfortunately, Overclockers does not sell the same model (black) in-store and I don't really like the look of the green/ white/ red versions.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which mouse to buy? I'm not too fond of the crazy 'mech' ones but I do prefer something that allows you to adjust the weight. I mostly play FPS games so the mouse itself has to be durable. Maximum I would pay for a new mouse is probably around £60, maybe pushing it to £70 depending on it's advantages. I don't really care for macro's that much however I do use one for talking on TeamSpeak on my current mouse.

All recommendations are greatly appreciated.

roccat Kone XTD is a good one. Nice feel too. usual things like dpi switch on the fly and what not

Only others i can compare against though is logitech mice i've had in the past.

I still love my Coolermaster Storm Inferno, but the DPI only tops at 4000. Might be too low for you?

Mionix Naos 7000, accurate and really comfortable. Same sensor as the FK1 and SS Rival.

I hardly play above 1000 DPI, on games like CS:GO I play on mouse sensitivity 6 and 900 DPI.

I would recommend trying the Gamdias Zeus esports edition. Allows you to adjust it to your hand specifically. Surprisingly nice tbh.

I would go for a Razer deathadder high enough dpi. It's optical and feels nice in the hand.

Think they are also quite well known for being a favorite mouce with a lot of people

Used the Naos for a bit, simply amazing. Not currently a true palm gripper so I have an Avior 7000 on the way! Same internals just different chassis. Can't wait for the new Mionix Castor mouse! Wish they'd hurry up lol

Logitech G series has never done me wrong. Been using them since it was the G7, now it's the G700s

Yea I just recently got G700s with G440 hard mouse pad and I love it. People are saying battery life isnt great but it last me around 12-14H of continuous gaming

I've been a pretty happy Naos user for the last year or so (coming from a G9x). Probably the most comfortable mouse I've owned.

Love my Naos too!

It's fairly solid, not many frills (ok, it lights up) and it is _incredibly_ comfortable in the hand.

The third party teflon feet are worth getting though for a bit of extra glide.

It cost me £28 when I bought mine a few years ago and it's still an awesome mouse. I only use the G700S as it was free (I won it) and it has a couple more buttons.
