How Much Sleep do you get per night?

4.5 to 5 hours at night and 1 hour in the later afternoon. Weekdays and 7 to 8 hours at the weekend.

Go to be up early but I'm still a night owl.

He was banned from another forum for it iirc :D. I know all about Nathan but I'm not sure why he does it .

Does hbk4894 have a job filling in survey forms?

Can just picture him/her looking out of the window , seeing snow and not wanting to go out, so asking peeps on here about various drivel then filling the forms.

Just a thought!

Last night I got 6hrs but struggled to get up in time, I can sleep for such stupid amounts of time like 17hrs+ but I think I average perhaps around 9.

Melatonin is dirt cheap, I've been using it for night shifts for a couple of years. The modified release is available too.

You got to be careful with Melatonin sources (well, at least from my experience). I had a bad reaction to one which basically scared the the hell out of me and stopped me ever trying it again. Felt like I was having some kind of seizure. Maybe it was just the brand I took?:(

Stupid threads are stupid bro

Why do you care OP? there isn't even reason why you want to know this info..

Tell myself I'll go to bed at 22:00 every night, don't, eventually going to sleep between 00:00-01:00 and then get up at 07:00 feeling pants. Need more sleep.

I get 4-6 hours most days any more and I actually feel way more exhausted or just really crappy but them 4-6 hours are bliss for me i just close my eyes wake up with the alarm feeling great

This oh I suffer so hard with sleeping, I have to drink every night to sleep.

The other night I said to the missus right am off the pop, 45 hours later and no sleep I cracked. :(

Been there. It aint real sleep though, that's the problem. No vitality in it.

You need to speak to a specialist and be honest with yourself about what keeps you awake.

Does the wondering mind keep you awake, or can you not sleep so the mind wonders after?

Differentiate between the two and then you can say the right things to make it easier for GP to do a referral.

6 hours sleep is like going to bed at 1am and getting up at 7am. Mental.

I usually get 8 hours plus and still I am Zorked. Probably in my blood or mentality as my Mum is a complete non worker and spends her life in bed.
