Does anyone know why it seems all X3s reviewed or released so far have the 4860MQ CPU yet Overclockers and all other UK retailers seem to list it as 4710HQ, are we receiving different specs?

Hi DZGT,

We will be shipping out the X3 Plus this Wednesday. So do expect them to be with OCUK early next week. The stock is limited, so better be quick! :)

X3 Plus comes with i7-4860HQ, I will inform OCUK to change this, thanks for spotting this ;)

Atom, can you please clarify - which Wednesday will it be? 3rd of September?

Does this mean that if I call your store on Thursday morning, you will be able to sell me a unit over the phone, and ship it out to me same day?
 
I think he is saying it leaves gigabytes factory this Wednesday and will be with ocuk early next week. I suppose those of us who pre ordered (Eg me) can expect to get it mid next week.

At least answer the SSD query, as it would be interesting to know if the memory or SSD is exchangeable or soldered in. :)

Hi Mikoyan,

Sorry for not answering the question earlier :)

The keyboard flex on one of the X7 is a single case and we have refunded the customer straight away. I cannot say X3 Plus have the best keyboard in the world, but I can assure it is sturdy enough :cool:

Yes, both memory and the M.2 SSD are upgrade-able.

Additionally, here's a review from HEXUS, with keyboard fall under "The Good" side if you would like to find out more about this little beast :D

If they haven't I may have to cancel my order, I've held out a bit long anyway, only travelling for a couple more months.

A small quantity have shipped a few days back and should show "In stock" early next week!
More on the way~~~~ :)
 
Looks like they are shipping today, just received an email stating so. Should arrive tomorrow morning, if anyone has any specific questions or things they want me to try out then let me know and I'll do my best.
 
WOW..... OK, so stock shipped on Wednesday, booked into OCUK today and now virtually sold out. (4 left at time of posting)

We anticipate that more stock will be arriving in the next couple of weeks, so please do continue to place pre-orders as this helps us apply pressure to the factory :-)
