Spec me laptop insurance

Need some help with laptop insurance. I've just ordered a nice new gaming laptop and I'm going to be moving around some rough areas in the next year or so so want to get insurance.

Does anyone know of a decent reputable insurance provider for laptops? I've looked at a few but don't want to get giped around.

Is it not simply covered under your house insurance? Much like your mobile phone will be?

I'll be renting rooms as I'm partially moved out so I'm not sure it would be covered.
