Looking for an inexpensive analogue watch with date display. With watch case being smaller than 40mm width, 11mm thickness, made from stainless steel or other metal that isn't brass that has been coated.
Uncluttered clear dial with figure for every hour. A different coloured hand for seconds. Not concerned about watch strap as it be eventually replaced with Velcro strap.
Three models I've shortlisted (pictures aren't to scale), but this is only based on images online except the Citizen - which may be budget re-release as nothing etched on back, unlike old unboxing owner posts.
Each have unique benefits.
Timex - Indiglo backlight when needed. And 24 hour numbering in addition.
Timberland - highlight around date box and date dial is white to stand out more from black watch dial.
Citizen - day with date, and doesn't need battery replacing as recharges with light. Only concern is price/ease when battery eventually needs replacing.
Only one I'm not sure about is Timberland, as no idea on quality of watch and who makes it. If basically paying premium for the branding.
