I'm due an upgrade and I'm going to go for the 5s instead to save some money. I prefer the design and really don't want a larger phone - if I want size I'll reach for my iPad!

Yes, but will hold off deciding which size until I have had the chance to play with both. It will probably be Space Grey and 64GB.

Also, I don't get why they omitted the 32GB size.

If anything it would have been smarter to shift the 16GB down to the 5S and 5C only.

Tiers:

5S and 5C:
16GB, 32GB

6 and 6Plus:
32GB, 64GB and 128GB

As 16GB goes so quickly these days, with games, and music collections getting bigger.

It would have made sense to have the 32GB size as the base model.

Now that they have stopped selling the iPod Classic, I am wondering how long it will be before they announce a 128GB iPod touch.

My 64GB is full, and my collection is growing.

Hopefully they will announce it alongside the new iPads next month, but I don't think they will.

I wish they would put stuff in place before discontinuing lines sometimes. I wonder if they still have them available in store...

I'm gonna go ahead and try out comparable androids for size, but I suspect it'll be a 64gb space grey iP6, not the plus. As much as I'd like a phablet, I just think it's impractical when putting it in your pocket - not too bad when wearing a suit (or similar) though.

Will be getting Iphone 6 Plus 16GB

Have a Nexus 4 which is unusable for listening to music as the sound quality is atrocious, so getting my first iphone now they have decent sized screens. Apps are also generally better on ios.

Not bothered about specs compared to other phones as it's software that's most important. Not bothered by the price as it will hold its value well and I can upgrade to a 6S plus next year.

Not from a profits standpoint it doesn't. Would Apple rather sell a load of 32GB phones at £539, or allow the few that can get away with 16GB phones do so at that price, and force everyone else to spend at least an extra £80?

I can get a new 32Gb 5C for £284, not sure if I should go for one (have a Moto G at the moment). Gah, can't make my mind up.

So not sure ???

I mean originally yeah, I like the spec and idea but I'm not paying through the nose for it. I've been offered any of the leading android devices on EE for a decent price , lower than I currently pay for my iphone 5.

Let's see what they want you to pay ,, if it's bucket full per moth , plus a 24month contract apple can suck my sock.

Not sure...

I have gone from Android - iPhone - Android - iPhone.

Android has always gave me a much better signal (Including WiFi) so I will probably wait for all the people complaining about stuff before I decide, not sure what Android phone to get if I dont get it yet either tho.

I'd going to guess at £35/month.

Think I'll stick with Android and my custom rom'd Oppo Find 5. I want a new toy even though this thing is stupidly powerful but the new iPhones are just too expensive for what you're getting and I always opt for 32GB buggers.

I've decided that I'm going for the SIM free iPhone 6 128GB in space grey

I showed my girlfriend the template of the new sizes, and she commented that even the iPhone 6 is too big.

I'll probably keep the 6 until the 7 is released. Not sure I want to upgrade every year any more.

Its going to be between the 6+ and the Note 4 for me.

The Note 4 is my choice at the moment because I like the freedom of android with being a versatile movie player and being able to drag and drop.

I will be waiting for reviews of both of them to hit before buying though!

I think I've decided to get a 32GB iPhone 5C whilst I still can. Something about the iPhone 6/6 Plus just seems awkward and 4" is a perfectly good size for me, and the plastic body of the C is just more pleasing to me and reminds me of the 3G/S which I loved. Shall be giving my iPhone 5 to my partner who's still got an ageing iPhone 4. So more of a step sideways than an upgrade.

had the 5 and insurance claim gave me a 5c, much preferred the 5 to the 5c.
