Gore/disturbing videos

Isn't that what's going on in the world everyday?

just that we are far removed from it.

what things dying or people filming things dying or people choosing to watch things dying?

still though you didn't answer the question why do you choose to watch things and people die?

does it excite you? thrill you? amuse you? entertain you? gratify you?

I've seen lots, beheading videos and people being executed and it's not nice but it doesn't make me feel too bad but there was a video of someone who had cut their wrist in a non fatal way but it was just squirting out blood fairly slowly, that of all the gruesome things I've seen is really the only one to make me feel queasy.

I don't watch them, even when they turn up on my FB feed I just hit hide or block. I know many people with far better stomach for stuff than me that admit to not being able to shake some of this stuff out their heads for ages.

But don't show a nipple on facebook that's bad!

OK, just watched that.

It's unpleasant but it's no different (to me) than the animal slaughter videos I've watched.

It's a disturbing way to watch anything die.

Unpleasant?
It was obviously quite bad and you still chose to watch it, odd.

It educates me.

It's nice to know how a cow goes from the field to the supermarket.

There are guys who slit throats all day everyday for a living.

I've watched a few Vegan propaganda videos, it convinced me.

I avoid such things, as it's very easy for morbid curiosity to take over. However, typically they don't disturb me too much, as I am aware they are realities of the world we live in, I however don't take any enjoyment from it.

But you're not a vegan, and you still consume animal products even if it's not in form of meat. :o

Either stop with your preachy holier than thou attitude, or do it properly and become a vegan, at least people will then understand your attitude.

WTF you would seek these out is beyond me.

not so long ago, i was on a fb page full of them (i removed myself due to the videos getting a bit much) but some of the video's i did find very interesting, mainly due to a complete lack of health and safety in other countries.

there was one cctv clip in china of 4 construction workers pushing a scaffolding platform along and they hit some power lines and were electrocuted resulting in instant death for all but one of them who set on fire when he awoke.

another one in india when a chap stands on a power line and goes up in smoke.

look its simple killing a cow peeling its skin off, drying it then wearing it on your feet is perfectly acceptable, eating the meat though is just ****ing evil!

get it now? :o:p

What do you mean crush videos?

There's one if a moped going under the wheels of a lorry, which then applies breaks and skids on top of the body leaving a red slick behind.

Everyone thinks about death and everyone has morbid curiosity, this is made worse from are massive removal in the west, both of animals and humans. Open caskets aren't a thing, it's all kept locked away etc.
I don't know where or if there's a line to be drawn. But I don't think it's a bad thing, and some morbid curiosity is a good thing.

Beheading and injuries to necks I can't stand. Even people getting choked makes my throat wince.
Animals is fine, as long as it's humanely bread and slaughtered. Used to work in an abattoir. But I do have a massive sense of humans as a species should be looking after each other etc. Which makes humans different to animals, as we're all the same species if that makes sense.

Did watch a fair few capital punishment videos from electrification to firing squads, how humans can be so barbaric towards each other in the name of law (or anything else) is beyond me. I think it's important to know what happens in the world, hiding from it doesn't help.

I've always avoided beheading vids etc but can stomach these Apache night vision insurgent take down clips, not sure if they count.

As you may guess it was of a Chechnen or someone getting beheaded and it affected me deeply and since then I avoid every image of those sort of things that I can.

I think that's the one where they basically saw his head off with a combat knife, seen it when I was in high school in the early 2000's, wouldn't say I particularly go around seeking these sorts of videos out though, seems odd that anybody would.
