Im getting back into BF4, will add you both. Is there particular days/times you play?
 
Hi All..

Maybe a stupid question.. but I've been playing BF4 on PS4 since day One, BUT i've also picked up an XB1, is there a way I can use the same profile on both (I know I'll have to buy a 2nd XB1 copy).

Just didn't want to have to different profiles an shave to play them separately.
 
nope. You have to have seprate soldiers with separate progress since on consoles your "profile" is effectively your PSN / Xbox Live ID
 
Anyone playing this recently?


Im still getting game breaking bugs.

Most common is when I leave a game in process and the screen just goes black, ill eject the disc, home screen will come back, put the disc back in, then get a message saying I have lost connection etc, online wont work, then back to black screen.

Have to hard boot from the plug to get the game to work again.

Ill assume Dice has moved on now and wont fix it.
 
I get the black screen after quitting sometimes, not all the time but it does happen a bit too often. I just press the menu button and quit and it's fine after that. Latest patch has tonnes of fixes apparently so hopefully that will clear a lot up!
 
Cu3ed, way around that is to change any setting (say sound volume from 100% to 99%) and save. Config will then stay.

Martin, Frodders I join up whenever I see you guys online, just a bit hard these days with a 4 month old and an hour ahead...usually knackered by then :)

I think everyone gets this in some form, it seems very weird. Change a setting as Witor suggested, that usually works. I sometimes get random setups I used for maybe one or two games magically come back.

Ahh, so do something in normal menu settings and it should stick?

Ive played this a ot in the last few days, in game is fine now I think, though I find some bugs in sound at the start still happening.

Goulmond railway ( erm name?), is a bit busted, textures etc taking a while to pop up)
 
I have had one black screen issue since the last update, never get any issues with soldier set ups not saving.

The texture issue is not just an issue to golmud, it also happens on Zavod and others, but the next patch will be bringing a countdown timer to the round so this should not be an issue once it starts.

As for the hover tanks, they are in the map like normal tanks, the picks up are the Rorsch Rail gun.

Should be fun launching from pod's across the maps, also no new guns for this DLC, but there will be some new attachments, one which auto spots people in a small cone from you gun, hopefully people will use this as many dont spot, and Laser/torchs just give away your position.
