VRI/GAP insurance - who did you use?

As per title really -

Just wanted options on which companies people have used for VRI/GAP insurance and which levels of cover you opted for.

Getting rather fed up of trying to haggle with my dealer who has quoted £449 for no room to move on a vehicle with a list price of £18.5k.

Any details of experience with providers would be much appreciated

Went with ala.co.uk. Can't remember the level of cover, but it cost me £200 to cover a £22k car. which was a lot cheaper than what was offered to me in the showroom. Go via quidco and get some cashback as well.

I used ala on the car I just bought, but got them to price match gapinsurance123, they beat it by 20% of the difference.

I also used ALA. Use the code "GAP12" to get a 12% discount.

Vehicle replacement+. I didn't take any of the optional extras like tyre insurance.
