4 seat weekend car

So... in the end I settled on this:

Sure, it's not the best handling car I've ever owned; but it looks great, goes well and sounds like God gargling thunder. Very happy so far.

Really not a fan of how they look at all, but they do sound nice. :)

Fingers crossed for some reasonable reliability.

... hahahahahahahahahahaha :')

Spend a little more and get a good E46 M3. To your point of do they feel special? Significantly more special that the 370Z and to me a Scooby. Proper engine, one of the greatest ever to sit in a car and lovely balance. Get the stuff fixed that will need fixing and it will be hard as nails and good for the odd sprint event. Proper car, 4 seats, reliable and fast.

To each his own. To me the GTV feels plenty special, and has bags of character. I'm sure that a M3 has lots of good points, but at the end of the day it's a pretty ordinary looking saloon (albeit one with a great engine). I've always fancied a proper Busso V6, that I was able to get one from an Alfa specialist with full service incl belt and water pump and 12 months ticket was a bonus.

As for reliability, given its a weekend car, that's not that important.

I've had a V6 Alfa, you tend to do it once for a reason. Each to their own, enjoy your motor.
