*** Official Nintendo Wii U thread ***

Love it...simply a power trip in the Zelda universe, the musical score is great also, of course rocked up a wee bit but I like it!

They seem to have done a good job putting the story together too and it looks pretty great too! Enjoying it a lot more than I thought I might and going to put in some decent hours tonight for sure :)

Has anyone on here managed to get a Wii-U repaired without a receipt? I bought one off of MM recently but the disc drive is buggered, I rang Nintendo support but they say they can't even do a serial check which sounds crazy to me :-(

You need to be talking to the seller.

If it was me and I sold something that broke within a week I'd refund the buyer no questions.

I'm enjoying it, just a mindless hack and slash, perfect for when you want to chill out after coming home from work. Impa is surprisingly my favourite character so far, didn't expect her to be.

Ganondorf is strong!, and he starts below Level 5 (level 1?) when you get him too. I really like his Y Y X combo and his specials are strong too (his full dark meter charge attack does BIG damage).
His Y Y Y X combo finisher is a a bit slow to charge, but you can cancel the charge with B(dodge) if you are about to get hit out of it.

I like that Link has a rising attack into juggle thing (B X, Y Y Y X), and his charge X attack gets very good at higher levels. Summoning the magic wall things with Lana is fun too.
The characters in general get more interesting after unlocking more combos/attacks, a big part of the fun is just finding what specials work best against certain enemies/situations, even if the combo system is quite straight forward.

Great news about the 10/10 for Bayonetta 2. :D I rarely disagree with Edge.

Here's a list of other games that received a 10/10 from Edge

And the following games didn't originally score 10, but were changed to a 10 at a later point:

I can understand hyrule warriors getting an average score, it's a decent 7 for me, good fun and I'm still glad I picked it up having not played a dynasty warriors game before.
Bayonetta is in a whole other league though, cannot wait.

Hyrule Warriors is a bit nails tbh. Playing on hard and it has been a breeze until now, however:

The missions where the story line splits in three, I have done Twilight field, but Sky loft and Death Mountain are nails. I just cannot seem to get around the map quick enough, or kill the bosses quick enough. Any tips? The Boss on Sky Loft just nails me every time
