St Austell restaurants etc

Working and staying in St Austell tonight, any recommendations for a decent restaurant or pub to get some food? We'll be getting a taxi in from the Premier Inn at the business park. Thanks!

Was there earlier this year, the place was dead about 6pm. No restaurants or pubs of note really.

"St awful"

I'd drive to anywhere other than st austell, lovely pubs/restaurants on the coast and only 20-30 mins drive (st mawes for example)

Just stay inside your premier inn room, lock and barricade the doors..drink from the toilet and eat the soap...then just get in your car the next morning and DRIVE! never look back.

It's been 6 or 7 years since I've been down that way, Kingswood restaurant in London Apprentice was very good then.

Sam's on the beach is just outside of St Austell.

Best place for food in the area is the White Pyramid @ Trewoon only a taxi ride away.

I belong to a St Austell based scuba club and the Pyramid is also our meeting place every week.

If the wife and I have any special days like birthdays and anniversary's etc that is where we always go.

We only moved out of St Austell 3 months ago just down the road to Probus what a difference, great place unlike St Austell.
