Could someone who has bought the above card and not installed it do me a favour and measure the height of the card from the base of the pci edge to the other side to include the overhanging heat pipes?
Hopefully replacing a 770 in my build but using a Core 1000 case, things are.....well, snug
Not that it will stop me......i already cut some sexay holes to allow the i30 cooler fit (which it does) and now it looks like an American Muscle car with a supercharger hanging out of the bonnet
If its too big ill end up swinging for the Gig G1 (which is epic long) but i can at least ditch the HDD cage if needed.
Would anyone recommend one of these over the other?
I know Gib has been hammering the MSI and it seems to have been producing the goods....have also read about it having a superior power supply. Not sure if i got that right or not.
I do want to O/C the card......my current MSI OC edition doesnt OC too well.....and shats itself with any seemingly stable OC when playing BF4
