Ran it solo today and got the Shrine mission on the moon. Nice that it can be done solo. I now have epic all epic armour, epic secondary, and an exotic heavy weapon. So close to 27. Another upgrade should do it.

I go on holiday tomorrow. I am going to get Destiny withdrawal.
 
Is shottsloyalists off the boards? If so I'm not ignoring you but my xbox live gold expired today and waiting for a new 12 month code
 
OLOL some poor guy farmed for 11 hours straight and got jack all legendaries.

It is on Reddit with a YouTube vid (Google Anyone interested in the results of an 8 hour & 10,000 AI kill farm? - has swearies so can't link direct)
 
Nah drops are random.

Random means its entirely possible that with 8 hours of farming you get no legendaries. Based upon my experience of trying to get legendary via drops it's always been like that

people who did better than that just got lucky.

When you say epic do you mean legendary or is there something better?

Some of them queen missions are tough. I was doing Scourge of Winter last night the one with the Fallen Kell (Draksis) at the end, I died 13 times before admitting to myself I couldn't do the mission on my own and asked for some help. I had Epic, Lightswitch and Arc Burn modifiers. Draksis himself was fine but the Shanks were absolutely cutting me in half with their arc turrets, I had a solar shotgun to get rid of them fairly quickly but there was too many and I constantly had to worry about Draksis too =(
 
My brother and I aced it once he came in I just needed that extra person, it was just too tough on my own. I look at these as good practice for the Nightfall strike which I'm hoping to do sometime before the week is out.

I was level 26 at the time (now 27) so I thought I had a shot, I knew it was going to be tough but it was insane. I'm not complaining (I was at the time) as I said, it's brilliant practice for Nightfall.

When you are in the doorway to the throne room shoot as many rockets at him as you can. I killed him before he even got angry by getting off two shots which killed him and ended the battle then and there.
 
My brother did that a matter of 30 minutes ago, I don't have an arc rocket launcher I'm afraid. I don't have any arc heavy weapons at all oddly enough, I'm mostly void with some solar.
 
I picked up the exotic bounty for the Invective last night, that means I either have or am in the process of completing all of the weapon exotic bounties. I also just picked up the universal remote out of an engram. I guess I can't complain about my luck. I also picked up a legendary fusion rifle for ranking up my vanguard, I had to laugh at the passives on it(Slide further while equipped and increase pickup radius of ammo). Completely useless :p

Anyone up for some queen missions/weekly strike on ps4 now? Have a few free hours for once - zild-uk.
