game does look nice at 1440p and 144hz, i will give it that much (as everything else about it currently annoying me, shooting is broken).

No other way apart from getting a new card.

Nice and smooth with GSYNC?

Think FIFA is the perfect game to show off GSYNC as the camera is always panning side to side.

I had 22k coins, was going to buy Ramires but he seems to be going for 30k. so went for packs instead..

The first week and I get an IF! Never pulled anything better than Reus before!

Will keep him until a week or so after release and see how much I can get for him. Wouldn't mind a million coins to splash on some more packs, although my mate did it last year with Ronaldo - got **** all.

Great pull that piggeh, I'd keep him longer than a week. Just use him and sell him before he's due a 2nd IF.

So for anyone struggling with the bug where players, including the keeper run into the middle of the pitch, make your PC name long. My PC Name was two letters, and making it 6+ fixed it. No special characters.

Weirdest bug ever, I know.

I've not got the problem (haven't actually fired up the full game yet) but that cannot be true.

EA are bad, but even they can't be that bad.

Ahaah that bug is hilarious! How the hell..?

I played it last night for a few hours. Naming the FUT club is hidden away, if you follow 'manager tasks' or whatever it is, you can eventually name your club.

I caved in a bought it from Mexico. Do I have to wait until it's officially released before I can log into the Ultimate Team web portal?

Edit - ah, think I have to pre-load the game, then start it off in there before I can use the web app.

I had to get the game up and running (use USA VPN whilst loading Origin) and set up a security question, before I could use the web app.

I didn't play FUT on '13 though, so it's possible it'll work without if you did this already

With the ROG monitor you can press the button on the side and with vsync off it then caps it at whatever you want, either 60/120/144 - so its extremely smooth at 144, wouldnt get tearing anyway cos of the frame rate but its an easy way to bypass the 60fps limit that fifa has and still have it capped nice and smooth.
