Hi all
Noob post alert. Thinking of ordering the MSI but not sure it will work with my monitor setup.
I have 2 x 27" 2560x1440 monitors, each with the following inputs:
DisplayPort
HDMI (limited to 1920x1080)
VGA
DVI

According to the MSI specification here:
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/GTX-970-GAMING-4G.html#hero-specification
the card will not output over DVI at the monitors' native resolution (card is restricted to 2048x1536).

I could use DP for gaming on one monitor, but can't see how I can get the 2nd monitor at 2560x1440 at 60 Hz, or run games across both monitors.

Any help/advice appreciated. Would this apply to all brands of the card?

Cheers

I can see a solution here :)

If the monitor can't take 2560x1440 over HDMI, and the card can't do 2560x1440 over DVI, then use a HDMI to DVI-D cable to output from the cards HDMI port to the monitors DVI-D port :)

MSI don't know their own specification then, or they don't know DVI... it will certainly do 2560x1440 @60Hz as both are dual link DVI ports.
