Hmm

Dammit. So after a week nearly of having the 6+ it's going back to Apple.....to be replaced with a 6.

I so love the device - it's screen is lovely but practicality wise it really is just that bit too big for me to have on my person comforttably. But having been to the Apple store this evening to try out a 6 I have made my mind up.

A 6 with 128GB it is...........

Of which I'm actually neither! I had already had a silver and slate i5, so for some reason decided to dip into the unknown :p

Hmm, finally got around to switching my sim to my iPhone 6 (from Nexus 5). My battery life has been underwhelming compared to others here, topped out at 6hours usage with a lot of WiFi, anytime I download something the device seems to heat up which is odd, not really been pushing it much, and keyboard has been buggy as hell, it decides when it wants to show up and when it doesn't. I tried using SwiftKey which is faster but it will revert back randomly without any warning.

Been a tad annoying, the size is really nice and I like the hardware although slippery, camera is nice too.

You have a valid point, but the times I have dealt with other providers (particularly Vodafone) I am invariably enraged, whereas O2's slow 4G is just mildly annoying.

It has become a matter of principle to not reward these terrible terrible companies with my custom.

I'm with O2 and just did a speedtest and got 52mbps down. Fast enough.

I'm at upgrade time (currently on ip5).

Best deal EE had for me for the IP6 at £40 per month and £100 up front so £1,060 total over the term. 4G, more data than I'd use and ultd txts/calls on 4G network (get coverage at home/work area).

Below that they offered IP5s for £30pm and £10 upfront so £730 total over the term. Same plan as above.

Is the IP6 an upgrade worth £330 extra over the 5S deal?

Had a look elsewhere, best other deal I could find was £39.50pm for IP6 and £34.99 upfront so £982.99 over term. Same plan but would have to move provider.

Any thoughts? EE said they could get me IP6 next day as only one of the colours was out of stock and I don't give 2 hoots about the colour as I always use a full flip case.

I'm with O2. I got the IP6 16GB for 29.99 up front and £43 a month with unlimited calls / texts and 2GB data a month (I am not a heavy data user when I am out and about). The EE equivalent was £100 up front for the same kind of package!

O2 got me the phone by 09:30 on release day too! :) Still waiting for their flip case and charger bundle though :( But I guess you have to take the rough with the smooth! lol :D

I suppose it is horse for courses, but I am happy with my contract.

Finally managed to reserve an 6+ to pickup today. Been on Android since the Cupcake days so it will be really interesting to see what living with iOS is like!

Confused...do you think they will just swap it for you and give you the smaller 6 just because you have decided the 6+ is too big??

Nice one. I have been using Android since Froyo/Gingerbread. I find iOS can do pretty much everything, you just have to learn how to use it, and I am still learning. I quite like iOS8, it feels refined and simple. My IP6 is fast as well, particulalry when doing things like refreshing email folders. My Nexus4 seemed to hang and think for a while before doing anything. My IP6 is just open folder and bosh! emails push across instantly :)

The only issue I had was getting my Android contacts onto iCloud, but in the end the way to do it was really easy, I just didn't know what it was (still learning :p ).

If you buy from the Apple store you can return for any reason within 14 days, as long as it's complete in the original packaging and undamaged.
