30/09 - GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY!
Gigabyte motherboard arrived and my system is ALIVE!
Gd times.

Hi guys, made the stupid mistake of knocking a cup of water over my PC...
I have pulled everything out of the case. GFX card + hard drives etc. should all be fine as no water reached them.
So, I have motherboard + CPU + RAM + PSU, press power button (tried both front of case and on the actual motherboard), not getting anything...
I have confirmed the PSU is working by trying it in another PC.
So I reckon the motherboard is dead.
Does anyone have any pro tips to try and ressurect the motherboard? If it's not working by Sunday PM, I will be looking to order another Z68 to identify whether it is just the motherboard that is dead, or whether it is worse..
If my CPU is fried too, well guess I will jump onto the newest i5, but would rather a cup of water being knocked over doesn't end up costing me £400 >.<
p.s. I am under the impression that when the PSU is simply plugged in to the motherboard, there should be a LED lighting up somewhere showing there is power to the motherboard (before even pressing the power on button on the case). I am not seeing any light from any LED's. RIP? Anything at all I can try before replacing motherboard??
