UK lazy buggers "drain" billions... shall we export them or drown them? [/sarcasm]

These guys only qualify to receive benefits once they have contributed plenty in tax and national insurance in the first place... the people receiving money had filled jobs that UK people thought to be beneath them.

They are only granted job seeker's allowance for a maximum of 6 months once they have left the country... and yes... it is a European thing... the same thing happens to UK people who have worked in other EU countries and come back to the UK, taking money from other countries - I don't hear you complaining about our behaviour regarding that?

Other countries have much better benefits systems even, so it is highly likely the UK is taking more from other countries than it is giving out... albeit only an assumption.

The daily mail use this kind of **** to get people riled up so they will continue buying their paper. They use the least amount of facts possible to make it a legitimate story & then inflate it with inflammatory drivel.

DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ SO EASILY.

Do some ****ing research before you start spewing their nonsense all over the place.

Can't we have a forum rule that new users can't create political threads in GD until they have say 100 posts to get rid of drivel like the OP which we seem to see more and more of on here.

Hell also say that if they then post threads whose basis is a daily mail link then they get the privilege taken away until they reach 1000 posts.

And rightly so, we callously let people come from poor countries to work and claim benefits at rates they'll never get in their homeland then send a large percentage back to their relatives.

Then when they decide to leave we let them go back with zero provision of grants or subsidies so that they can make up the living standard differentials, how are they expected to continue to live to an English standard without British government support iyam we should be paying an extra 10% income tax so we can help those returning to eastern europe to live like kings compared to their compatriots!

Nope, other countries carefully tailor their benefit systems to make it as difficult as possible to claim them - there's loads of Brits in France now living below the poverty line because things didn't work out for them there and they aren't entitled to French benefits.
 
The Fail always makes me laugh. Always spewing out rubbish about how lazy people are costing money and we should rise up against it.

It amuses me because the laziness shown in their own reporting seems to be lost on them. lol :)

Or maybe it is not laziness. Perhaps they just have a hateful agenda?
