**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

Just got my dispatch confirmation from Handtec so will hopefully have my Black Z3 tomorrow :D

Already got the magnetic dock, and now just waiting on a Case-Mate tough case to turn up :)

Brightness was set to Auto (think its half way by default) and in terms of use:
Regular Wotsapp
Constant Push emails (I get a lot!)
Sony Playstation App useage about an hour in total (app is always running)
Destiny App useage about half an hour in total
DME Excitor email useage - running for 4 hours and receiving work emails
I have the NZBAir widget constantly running (polls my sabnzbd box)

Calls I only had two calls per day - each about 5 mins

Was connected to WIFI all day saturday, sunday I was out from 13:00 until 21:00 so was connected via 4G

Lets not forget the fiddling and showing off new phone bit to colleagues, friends and families either ;) - I'd say more use than normal

Did I miss anything? lol
- All in all I was pretty impressed. My S4 would have died within one day normally.

But make-up kit colour!

Btw Web browsing is definitely faster on this than my Note 3. Same browser and same network but everything loads much quicker.

I genuinly think they have nailed the perfect phone.

Screen, water & dust proof, audio, battery life, camera, MHL etc. It literally has every feature that i'd want on a phone.

The rear glass doesn't have the same scratch resistance as the front! My rear panel has a couple of hairline scratches only visible at fine angles.

Still not gonna use a case though, I'm expecting it to look like an iPhone 5s back panel in time :p

Then I can break out the glass polish once it gets noticeable in normal use.

yeah thats what I'm being careful of!
They supplied a front screen protector (crap one at that darkens the screen a bit) but no back one!

I've chcked teh bay of e and theres no sign of any for the Z3 full size - loads for the Z3 compact front and back but only front ones for the Z3 :(

Multi AF points! I'm still deciding o whether HDR photo of Image Stabiliser mode produces better images. HDR gives more dynamic range at the expense of a slightly more flatter final image.

HDR video is cool though. The wide angle lens looks nice but enabling steady shot zooms the picture in like on the Note 3.

woo my order is available for collection at my local vodafone store..early finish today then!

Mrk can you do the variable focus thing with this?

and is there a proper macro mode?
