hi, i normally use an HD 5550 and i also happen to have an HD 4650 sitting here. im not really a big gamer or gpu person so dont really know how it really works but is it worth adding in the 4650? never crossfired anything before so do you still need the little additional connector thingy? i dont think i have one if you do. also given the 4650 is older do they play nice together?

That's not going to work very well. AMD cards don't need to be identical for CF to work as far as I know, but these are different generations.

yea, never going to work properly... worth selling both and putting some money towards a gtx750ti

funny enough i have just ordered a 750ti.

i expect i shall ebay the two it was just that i happened to have the 4650 sitting next to me and was curious if worth bothering to open the box up and stick it in.

no pal... wouldn't work... different generations, different chips etc

the 750ti is a banging budget card... you will play with good frame rates at 1080p with that card... looking at getting my misses that card, or a second hand 570
