What is appropriate packaging to RMA a graphics card and memory? I was thinking wrapping it in bubble wrap would be fine, and I have not anti static bags, please could someone advise me on this?

Last one I sent back I used the original box it arrived in and to be doubly safe placed that box within a large padded jiffy bag. When it comes to graphics cards and most other PC components of comparable size I always keep the original boxes they arrive in and stick them out the way up in the attic just in case. ;)

Yeah the original box is the best option (after all it should have been designed for it), I would bubble wrap that and put in a larger box for extra safety. :)

My dad learnt lessons after threw away empty boxes, new boxes cost a lot of money. Best to unfolded boxes and stored it for future storage or resell items.

Never threw away anti-static bags too so you can buy anti-static bags on ebay.

Make sure you take pictures of graphics card and memory before packed it in box and also take pictures of sealed box with RMA address on it because it will helpful with RMA cases which RMA dept received crushed boxes with damaged items which voided warranty, you will need pictures to prove you didn't damaged it. Here was some unlucky people who never thought of take pictures before packed RMA graphic card in secured box with bubble wrapped to EVGA but arrived with crushed box with damaged card then the RMA was rejected so poor people cant do anything but have to buy another new graphic card again and learnt lessons.

I always RMA items in boxes secured with bubble bags or papers wrapping.

Last time I RMA graphic card was back in 2013 with EVGA GTX 670 4GB SC with corrupted screen then EVGA send me replacement in 2 boxes and I used the same boxes to returned faulty card.

Thing is I dont have the anti static bag, so i guess my real question is, is it ok just to wrap the GFX in bubble wrap, naked as it were.

bubble wrap inside a box will be ok.

Don't sent it not in a box as that's not classed as suitable packaging & couriers wont cover it if they break it in transit

I wouldn't personally, I'd grab one from the bay or somewhere just to be safe and to stop them turning round and saying it wasn't sent properly so we won't cover you.

After googled about RMA in bubble wrapping without anti-static bag, found people RMAed motherboards and graphic cards in bubble wrapped to SCAN UK and ASUS with no issues.

Yeah bubble wrapping probably will be fine if you don't have anti-static bag.

Hopefully your RMA will go smooth.

I hope so too, bought a R290x and got the constant crashing when its under load, cant believe there is such an issue with these amd graphics cards, I asked the guys if I could replace it with another, and they said it would be 50/50 if i got another card that did the same.
