People who are deciding to return their 6 or 6+, on what grounds are you making the return? DSR doesn't exist anymore and CCR don't give the same level of consumer protections re returns.

DSR doesn't exist anymore?

Seems to be a lot of issues with the iPhone 6!

People keep on buying them though :p

And what exactly are the issues?

So, is it a jump forward from previous phones? Worth the £700 price tag?

I felt thoroughly ripped off with my last iPhone 5. Resisting the urge to upgrade my galaxy s4 with any of the new phones so far.

Worth it from an iPhone 4S. Can't comment on from a 5 of 5S.

I'm also debating if I should replace my S4 with the iphone 6. The last iphone I had was the iphone 4  How does the front and back camera compare to the Galaxy S4?

A huge step forward from my previous Moto G (but I'd argue iOS is a huge step forward from any Android phone) but far less so from the iPhone 5 or 5S.

Really not all that impressed with the battery so far.

Went to bed on 20% yesterday, my HTC One m7 would have been on 45-50%.

Whatsapp seems to be the main killer, I lose 1-2%% every 5 messages or so. Streaming with google music is terribly inefficient (lost about 8% with 30mins of streaming).

I would have expected it to be at least on par with my m7.

Anyone else having these problems? Is it worth exchanging?

Anyone having similar issues?

Is it worth letting the battery go dead to try and recalibrate?

Yet it manages to match and even surpass the HTC One in benchmarks.

Those benchmarks only tell half the story, due to the smaller battery background tasks take a higher toll, e.g. syncing email is mostly using the radio, most phones have the same radio, so the battery size is going to mean a lot more.

Also if you look at the gaming benchmarks you see the battery size making more of an impact then anything else. Also keep in mind that most device are pushing a lot more pixels, need a lot more power for the backlight and so on. So when the screen on if the M8 and iPhone 6 are similar when the display is off the M8 will wreck it.

Apple does an amazing job of making a small battery last very long, and I doubt something like the Galaxy Alpha will come close (closest competitor). But for somethings are just out of the hand of the OS and are almost exclusive dependant on battery size.

Are you saying I'm wrong and in fact I'm getting more usage out of my iPhone?

Benchmarks do not equal real world usage.

Besides, I'm suggesting there may be a problem with mine, I'm not trying to talk badly of apple or anything.

Oh not at all, I was just pointing out how impressive it is that Apple can do so much from such a small battery :)

For some reason, after a few days of airplane mode usage (which gave stupidly good battery life). I've left airplane mode off for 2 days now and I'm getting great battery life.
8AM-12AM leaves about 20% from a lot of usage.
