Tax disc who is binning them?

I'm going to keep the expired disc on show or would that be illegal?

I for one will miss the annual task of slip-sliding the new disc in front of the rest since I've had the car and then getting the text on the disc to line up perfectly with either the lines of the windscreen or the car - or am I the only one :D
 
All those tax disc holders that exist that haven't been sold. Won't somebody think of the tax disc holders?

I shall not miss them from having it exposed to scum on my bike, but a game of mine, when walking down a street, was checking how long people had till they had to buy new tax. I never said it was a fun game.
 
Taxed mine today on the new system, and after I get home tonight I will take out my old tax disc and put a parking permit in its place, so the old holders will still have some usefulness :p

I haven't however displayed a tax disc on the bike for about 5 years, got nothing to do with all the bikes constantly getting written off.....
