XSPC GTX 980 Blocks

Anyone have news on if and or when XSPC will make some blocks for the GTX 980's ?

Really really don't want to use some EK blocks.

I threw them an E-mail last week and they let me know friday (the 26th) that they would have availability on the new Razor blocks in 1-2 weeks. hope this helps. Cheers

I had hoped for a more definitive answer but am happy they are coming and I don't have to use EK blocks.

I used to have EK blocks on my 7970's and my cpu but all three suffered from the nickel plating problem. I then moved over to XSPC blocks and really like their stuff so I will be sticking with them if I can.

I used EK blocks on one of my 580's in a previous build. Temps went up to 85 on the core. And that was after 20 re seats .

Presumably you got a duff one? It happens. I have had an EK block on my 780GTX for almost a year with no issues.

Yes. Although at the time the world and his uncle told me duff blocks don't exist because they are precision machined. Even TTL over at OC3D weighed in on the argument.
