Nexus 6 Rumours and Speculation

Sold my Nexus 7 a few months back and am using a Samsung S4 currently. Very interested in the Nexus 6

Would love a phablet.

Why not the Z3-compact? Sounds like it's the perfect phone for you.

Looked at that but don't think it's really an upgrade from the N5. Better camera and better battery life but lower resolution and similar processor. And a bit on the small side - 5" is about the perfect size for me. The standard Z3 would be okay if the bezels were a bit smaller.

Basically I want an N5 with better battery life, a better camera and a more 'premium' design!

I'm hoping for a 5.2" but as AP have said if there is another version they have managed to keep it very much a secret.

Paul at Modaco also said that the 5.9" is the only Nexus phone that's coming out this year that he knows of So looks like I'll be getting a G2.

The mrs has the G3 and you're right. It feels great in the hand, considering it's a 5.5" screen! They did a great job

To be honest though, I think I actually prefer my G2 (but mostly as I'm running my own custom rom)

really liked my G2 but the slowness of updates was disappointing, can never be too sure with LG, it was a bit 50/50 back then on whether new updates will be coming out, not sure about now though

nexus 6 does look sweet though

Most rumours are pointing to announcement in the middle of this month.

Quite tempted with the Z3 or Z3C if this does turn out to be 5.9". Only problem is the Z3 seems a bit big and the Z3C seems a bit small, guess I'm never satisfied...

im thinking the same thing about the getting the Z3 or Z3c if this turns out huge. dont agree with the Z3 being too big though (the other reported Nexus 6 size is 5.2" which is the same as the Z3)

I'd get a Z3 right now if I knew it'd get L on release. Unfortunately I worry we'd be waiting 2-3 months which isn't good for my Shiny New Android syndrome.

After using a Z2 there is no way i would get a Z3, not sure what else to consider other than the Nexus 6, maybe the new Note?

Yup, same size as the Nexus 5, pretty bad display in terms of usage, bigger display too. Its not to good. The Anandtech review in generally was painful, seems like its using something similar to the S4 display.
