I decrypted 20 odd blues, levelled up Cryptarch twice, got only blues in the reward packages. One blue did turn to purple gauntlets so not all bad.

Good now high level strikes offer potential rewards, can do that exotic bounty.

what rank is your cryptarch though? rewards are probably more likely to be purple the higher his rank.

after the patch, the hardest strike says you get a cryptach engram but I didn't seem to get one.

No mate, friends have come over so I just messed around on nightfall instead. Solo'd all the way to the end boss and almost killed him, then shot a rocket launcher at my feet by mistake.

I'll be on later on like 11pm then all day tomorrow. Sorry for the strange times mate, gotta fit everything else in whilst I'm off work.

Hardest part of the whole thing for me was the rune decoding room early in the mission (where you have to clear 3 waves of enemies while the door unlocks). At some point you get rushed by 3 wizards at the same time. I found that a bit tricky.

Rest of the level is really not that bad though, as long as you take a few ammo packs and remember to use Solar on the wizards and Arc on the knights, you'll rip them apart. The boss fight has a saferoom where you can camp and kill them one by one while you wait for Xyor to arrive. Once you've killed Xyor you'll get the item, you don't even have to finish the mission.

Give me a shout if you need a hand anyway, wouldn't mind doing that level again

19 now. I wonder if reward packages are nerfed since Legendaries will give legendary stuff.

Nope.

it's not guaranteed to give you one every strike.

Well I just opened my 3 cryptarch packages, only got blue engrams. Then in the process of decoding them all, I got another package which contained 2 blue engrams. All of the loot decoded to blues. They either nerfed the cryptarchs drops slightly or they just decided to turn all packages from before the patch into blue engrams.

If anyone wans to do the weekly heroic strike at level 28 they are welcome to join. I'm doing it with some random who just never seems to leave me alone, hes going to get blocked after this strike

Hey all I got a stupid question. how do you check what version Destiny is on PS4? when I go to update history from home screen it says version 1.03 or 1.0.1.3 I think.

I went into the game and I got a small 685kb update file but the version still says the same as above. Can you check in game anyhow or have the update been applied but don't show in update history.

i got a legendary rocket launcher from a blue engram, it seems pretty good.

got an exotic helm from a legendary engram, trolololol, seems the game is raining legendaries / exotics now XD
helm looks pretty amazing, looks like the helm the mars legionnaires wear. doesn't really match the rest of my armor set though :-\
special stat = "ward of dawn blinds enemies who enter it"
meh, don't think i can be bothered to level it up when my exotic chest piece is already fully upgraded.

Nice. Yeah I got a legendary boot engram although they weren't quite as good as what I've already got.

You appear to be able to do a fist of havoc style of attack if you jump and do the melee attack. Also, he's running around chasing and killing harpies which is filling his super quicker.

Second video also explains that the enrage kicks in around 7 minutes and causes the mass spawn of minotaurs etc. that wiped us out.

When we did the Templar fight.. we finished it by jumping off the map to the left hand side.. hid behind a pillar until the relic charged.. super-ed the Templar and then all shot it.

This method took a while.. but enrage didn't kick in.. we didn't kill any oracles or enemies and when we were all marked the guy with the relic cleansed straight away.

Perfect strat really.. as no one died.. and all it took was time and some ammo synthesisers!
