Do you really think even Top Gear would make the point of broadcasting an intentional insulting racist slur on peak time TV on purpose?I didn't really understand why they were referring to a "slope" on the bridge - it looked pretty flat to me. However I've just read that they were doing a racism and referring to the Thai worker on the bridge at the time. I'm literally cringing thinking about it now. It's like that Mexico joke that Hammond did a few series ago, not funny and totally unnecessary. I thought Burma was one of the better specials but that's actually ruined it for me.
