What did you do to your bike today?

(how u cash it in? online id guess? keep thinking you have to post the tax disc in lol)

Send it off I presume.

EDIT my bad, apparently the refund will be automatic.

Selling a vehicle

From 1 October, vehicle tax is not transferable so you won’t be able to include any remaining tax when you sell a vehicle. If you sell a vehicle after 1 October and you have notified DVLA, you will automatically get a refund for any full remaining months left on the vehicle tax. The refund will be sent to the keepers details on DVLA records so you need to make sure that these are correct.

Vehicle tax refunds

You will no longer need to make a separate application for a refund of vehicle tax. DVLA will automatically issue a refund when a notification is received from the person named on DVLA vehicle register that the:
•vehicle has been sold or transferred
•vehicle has been scrapped at an Authorised Treatment Facility
•vehicle has been exported
•vehicle has been removed from the road and the person on the vehicle register has made a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN)
•person on the vehicle register has changed the tax class on the vehicle to an exempt duty tax class

taken from.

Don't expect too much m8. I chucked a set of those into the wife's little Pug 107 and barely noticed any improvement from stock bulbs. I dunno why everyone seems to rave about them and rate them highly.

yh im thinking the same,i thought ooo nice pure white daylight bulbs but no,same yellow light

think only way is to go h.i.d

that's £12 down the swanny

No idea. It happened this morning and the insurers haven't picked it up yet.

My shin hurts and has some gouges but that's it.

did you brake sharp? even so its their fault if they hit the back of you

glad your ok,this is one of my biggest fears tbh when im at lights/in traffic because stupid car drivers always drive an inch from your rear tyre

And that's why we filter. I fear being rear ended on a bike, there's a junction I go through every day that I have to stop at (right filter on the traffic lights) that is at the end of a overtaking lane up a hill, round a bend - car regularly coming up the hill at 70mph and you can't see the traffic queue (which is always there) until you're on top of it. Even if I have push in, I ALWAYS filter here, it's just not worth the risk of some **** not paying attention and barrelling into the traffic queue at 40mph.

Hope you and the bike are ok, I presume you got the drivers details?

I called them to see if I could ride home without my licence plate, they said I could but didn't get involved in the case as he admitted full liability in front of 2 witnesses.

Put on a new exhaust.
