*** Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ***

My contract is up, and this looks like my next phone! Any suggestions on deals up to, say £33 a month assuming that I can't get the O2 open discount?

Great battery life on this phone

Picked up a few cheap accessories from the bay of e, namely some mag cables and a mag dock. Both are fine, dock was only £5 and for my bedside table it works fine once it's in properly. The cables seem a little better than the deff adapter I was using before, and were only a couple of quid too.

If anyone is interested I put a cheap bay screen protector on the back and it is now less slippy when on tables and desks.

It's still a slippy phone but before it seemed to possess magical powers that allowed it to move even on seemingly flat surfaces.

I'm really interested in this, after looking at one in Carphone warehouse today.

Does anybody know if the following is possible?

I want the EE deal above, unlimited mins, texts and 4gb 4g data for £27.99 + £50 for phone.

If I go the upgrade route, I won't get the £65 quidco I presume? I am currently with t-mobile and want to keep my number (business purposes).

If I get a new contract, of course I will get the £65 cashback through quidco, but, can I then port my number from t-mobile to the new contract?

Which mag adaptor did you buy? I am after one and not really wanting to spend £11 on the Magnector one!

I just took that exact one out today using quidco too, there is no problem porting your number from your old T-mobile one.

I received the Magnector cables today - 221551631747 & 321511434842. I haven't opened the latter as the connector is bulkier, and I want to see if the first one works with a case.

It's meant to be have a stronger magnet than any others from reading reviews and forums, and it does make a very easy and solid connection. You can even dangle the phone from it if you don't shake it.

How widespread an issue is the 'phantom' glass cracking on the other xperia z series?

This is currently my only worry, as sony have poor support.

On the 3rd full cycle of the battery and I'm starting to see some crazy long battery life. My N5 battery would be dead by now and I still have 51% of the battery capacity remaining!
