Sapphire Radeon R9 290x Vapor-x Tri-x Oc, 8192mb

I doubt there would be any difference.

Will only change when running multiple cards, and if I recall you need at least 3 of them to make full use of the memory running at high resolution.

Having said that. If you are wanting just a single 290x, and not running high res such as 4k then just get the 4gb or a 970/980.

The Vapor X is a big card so I don't think you will be fitting 3 of those in a system :D

Quoting Memory capacity: 4096MB GDDR5 on that review.

was more looking at the 8192 one.

It's exactly the same mate. Got one here. Good cards but the extra VRAM only worth it for 4k and in Crossfire, which ideally need to be on water for as the coolers aren't ideal in that configuration.

Up to four EK-FC R9-290X VaporX water blocks can be interconnected with EK-FC Terminal which allows for hassle-free piping job.

Nice! So they did end up making blocks for them.

If you were able to grab 4 Vapor X 8GB cards that would make for a sexy 4k setup. :D
