Hey guys, so I have narrowed it down to these coolers for my FX 8350. I am looking to overclock my CPU but nothing too extreme, maybe 4.6-4.8 at most. I am open for other suggestions but I don't want to go with watercooling. I don't care about looks as i wont see it, I just want the best cooling performance.

Specs:

mobo: Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
GPU: R9 280x
CPU: FX 8350
PSU: XFX pro series 750w
HDD: WD 1TB
CPU cooler: Cooler Master hyper evo 212
Case: Phantek enthroo pro
RAM: crucial tactical tracer 2x4gb, 1600

Thanks

Nothing too extreme? I would say that 4.6 to 4.8 is the most you could get out of that chip. So yeah it is extreme.

All three perform pretty much the same. Definitely all withing a couple degrees. It is more important to make sure your case airflow is removing the heated air from coolers (especially the GPU) without it mixing into the cool air going to coolers.

Here's link to a short guide to case airflow and cooling

i will have 2 exhaust and 3 intake in my case, so hopefully i will have good airflow
