*** Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ***

I like those Roxfit window cases or whatever they're called with the clear flip part of a flip case i never use a screen protector but always use a flip case, best of both worlds.

Cheapest way to get this on contract?

EE I think have great deals on this handset at the moment. Just out of contract and been simo for a couple of months now but seriously tempted to sign up to another 24 month contract with EE for this phone

£27.99pm Unl / Unl / 4gb data

I'm currently on Orange 3g, unlimited everything for £14.99pm but even with that it works out just as cheap over 24 months as buying the handset outright from clove for £350

Been battling with EE and I've now been offered £24.99, Unl, Unl, 2Gb data, £19.99 for the phone...

I hardly use 1gb as it stands but they've told me it's not possible on EE to change the service plan midcontract if needed. But iimpossible to say 2gb is going to be enough data per month for the next two years, especially when 4G becomes more widely available... Hmmm

Wish I could get it that cheap from mobilephonesdirect or one of those other supplies because I don't want a phone with bloatware that takes even longer to get OS updates due to the carrier being a willy.

Edit out the swearies dude, should know by now that they will suspend you for that as someone will inevitably report it.

Mine has shipped and should be with me tomorrow, but I am now having second thoughts as I quite fancy the bigger Z3 .
Anyone got experiences of both?

The Compact is like the LG G3 - a lot of screen, not a lot of bezel. That's what I love about it. I'd happily have a larger handset, but the extra bezel and 5.2" screen make the full sized Z3 too big for me.

After having the Z3c for 10 days, I think my ideal would be a 5" handset with Z3c proportions. I'd happily have a phone a little bigger than the Z3c, but the Z3, G3 and M8 are just too big. It's a real shame phones jumped so quickly from ~4.5" to ~5.2" - everything in between barely got a look in.

After 10 days of ownership, I think my honest answer is, a 5" handset with Z3c proportions would have been the ideal. I'd happily have a phone a little bigger than the Z3c, but I don't want one as big as the Z3, G3 and M8.

Hmmm........interesting, I used to have the Xperia Z and found that to be just about right in terms of physical size. I thought Xperia Z1 was just a tad too big.

I am moving from a Nokia Lumia 1020 so maybe the Xperia Z3c will be good enough for me as it's a bigger screen in a smaller body but part of me fancies the Xperia Z3 as I want to try a bigger device.
Then again the only reason I am swapping the Lumia 1020 is due to the fact that I got really frustrated with the loading times of certain apps and the crazy battery drain when using the camera.

Coming from the Nexus 5 I have found I have adapted to the slightly smaller screen very well. Honestly think the screen is about the right size for me, love the proportions of the Z3c.
