Gazebo? :D

When I get a turbo I'll be using it outside as I have no room in the house/garage... I'm fully intending to get a gazebo/build a lean-to if I really get into turbo riding! ;)

Put a big effort into the only segment on my work commute this morning as was stuck behind a guy going slower with lots of traffic for a while before... Think I shaved 2s off my PR (where can you see previous efforts on a segment? Or premium only?) in full wet weather gear (inc rucksack) lol :D

Really expected to place higher than 68th :(

Click on the segment, then click on the dropdown on the right-hand side and finally click My Results. Doesn't require premium.

lol, no room for one unfortunately, + my parents would go mad !

need a cycling cap, assos Rain cap must be waterproof? but expensive

Any cotton cycling cap will do the trick for keeping out the rain so don't overspend on one. I wear one of the Planet X merino beanies if it's really cold out.

cheers

find me a cheap one that isn't Team coloured one, at CRC cheapest one is an Astana cap, erm no thanks :p

Thanks! :)

Only shaved 1s off my PR of 25s lol

Then again I'd only got that time once, most of my efforts are around 27s/28s so not bad (done this segment 143 times, I have previously walked it lol)

recommend me a cycling cap, to keep the rain of my glasses please

now that I cant use the Turbo this winter, due to mum and step dad buying exercise bikes to keep in the shed, I have to cycle outside!

Get a hydrophobic coating on your glasses.

Go for Prendas over Planetx any day. I just find Planetx's clothing to be garbage.

So my crushed vertebrae are healing nicely from my crash, have to wear my back brace for another 3 weeks then should be fully healed! So hopefully I'll get the green light to ride on my bike in November but will need to do some core muscle work first as they've been wasting away being supported by my metal back brace instead!

The specialist said I'd be ok to go on a turbo trainer now aslong as I sit upright and stop if my back gets in any pain but I'm going to give it a few weeks yet.

I dont have a turbo at the minute, I want one that links in well with Trainerroad so I can do training with their estimated power using laptop, Edge 500 and GSC 10. My budget is around £200, any recommendations?

Ventured to work on the bike today and I can safely conclude that I wore the wrong type of gloves!

Even worse, its looking like it will sling it down around home time today :( I think I'll be in for a soaking.
