*** Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ***

Coming from the Nexus 5 I have found I have adapted to the slightly smaller screen very well. Honestly think the screen is about the right size for me, love the proportions of the Z3c.

I concur, the phone is virtually all screen and thankfully it doesn't have the large bezels like its older sibling, which helps a great deal.

It's almost as fast as the N5, but I'm not missing the dire battery life on the N5 that's for sure!

I thought that until I went into the developer options and increased the speed of the animations to x0.5 - now its as quick as my Nexus 5 ever was, if not faster.

Same. This is the first thing I do with all my phones. Although I think my Nexus5 using ART run-time was very slightly faster, it's the same speed as the N5 using Dalvik though for sure.

What are the spec differences between Z3 & Z3c? Is it just screen resolution? I fin the Z3 too big even though I want a bigger screen it just feels way bigger then when I had an S5 which I wouldn't go any bigger than.

720p vs 1080p (largely not noticeable).
2GB RAM vs 3GB (makes little difference because of the above).
2600mAh battery vs 3100mAh (yet the Z3c lasts longer under testing).
Small differences in physical design.

In a nutshell, the differences are minor and user experience (size aside) is the same.

Longer by 90 minutes give or take from the endurance test review :p

They both cancel each other out. Where one has more RAM the other has a smaller res screen so gets the same performance. one has bigger battery, the other has a smaller screen so the battery is used less so that cancels out.

They are evenly specced once put into scale and the only differentiator is preference. Whether you like a sub 5" phone or bigger.

Is anyone else experiencing low call volume on this phone? Even turned up fully in a slightly noisy environment it can make the caller on the other end hard to hear.

Think im going get one of these tomorrow or friday after work just hoping some of the offers ive seen let me use my wifi gor free as 4gb of internet wont last me if i use in and out of work.
