Did a few rounds of IB with my bro earlier.

Its exactly the same as normal Control! What a waste of time doing the bounties. Back to Vanguard and Crucible bounties it is.

One thing (of many) I think they ought to change is how PvP rewards are done, I finished top twice (out of 10+ games) and got nothing at all but both times the worst player got some nice gear.

I know they have to give some incentive for low level/ability players but I think either it should be tiered from a 100% (1st place) to 50% (last place) chance of an item or just don't show me what other people get so it can't annoy me.

Fired up the PvE last night after a few days off and took one trip to the bounty collector to remind me why I quit playing - SSDD.

I've got a feeling Bungie will turn round and say "Oops, it appears the normal Crucible wasn't working as intended all along."

Either way, something is off as both IB and the Crucible are exactly the same, IMO.

You get a guaranteed legendary, it could be armour or a weapon, I think I have got it for a class that I wasn't currently using so it may not be useable. Its only the one item though, its not like a cryptarch reputation package

Can also be a class item, which when broken down doesn't give shards/energy :mad: which has happened to me twice now

I don't think I've ever had the misfortune of getting an class item and I've received about 6 of those packages, maybe I just got lucky.
 
Those goddamn Reaver Captains :(

Was trying to solo the Nightfall for a good couple hours last night. Made it to the final area 3 times (when I was being careful and didn't get killed by Vex). First time, didn't respect the Reaver Captains ability to 2-shot me. Second time, I did but the second one had been gone for 5 minutes... suddenly with the boss down to 10% I dropped dead and he was back. Third time I was clearing out the mobs before the boss and the Reaver Captain jumped me and a Vandals shots mid-flight finished me off :(

I'll get the ******* down tonight though!

I hate how Vandals can pretty much 2-hit you with their sniper shot, regardless of the level

You do get a lot of warning between shots at least. Only been hit by one once and I killed him before the shot landed. Reaver Captains... 2 shots takes them half a second and when you're under the platform you can't dodge.

I'm all over this once I've finished the raid this week lol
 
Not entirely sure if mentioned about the nightfall, but if you're under the platform and the boss is above you, snipers with the armour-piercing shots upgrade can shoot through the floor and hit the boss. When tested only snipers worked and it would take a long... long time. But you can then sit in the safest place right under the ramp.
 
Did the weekly Nightfall strike level 28 thing ... got an exotic Mask of the Third man helm for Hunter...

I'm playing Warlock :(
 
Is there only going to be one raid per DLC pack? It would be nice for them to release one a month or something like that.
