final fantasy 13 series coming to pc

Well the latest GeDoSaTo build is almost working perfectly. Last night that build added in SMAA but then the text on the loading screen, some parts of the menu, and the radar weren't showing up. This morning's build now shows all the text but the radar is still missing.

I've tried enabling SSAO without any luck so hopefully that'll work at some point down the line.

The game looks 10x better now though. Three more of my latest shots:

Been a long time since playing the game, can't remember the radar having much there for the game? Can't remember using it for secret areas? By the time i've got that far i'm sure it'll be updated.

Will get it downloaded and have a go :)
If not, FF14 is always there waiting for me.
 
I'll wait for that guy to get that res mod working properly, i've justed started the game and beat the tutorial boss, and My god even at 720p does the game look stunning, it looked fantastic on PS3 but wow.
 
Downloading it now. 60gb tho.. mother of god. 6 hours DL to go on my connection speed. Should be up an running for the weekend though.
 
Annoying that un-rarring 55gig takes roughly the same time then downloading the ** No disguised swearing **..(45 mins)

Any fixes to unrar big files (25gig+) faster these days?
 
Guys, when you say that with the GeDoSaTo mod working it messes up the 'radar', what exactly does that mean as far as playing the game is concerned? Tempted to get FF13 but might hang fire until the resolution issue is properly sorted. Or is it worth grabbing just now and ignoring the radar being borked?

The radar in the top right is not visible. If you want to see the area of the map around you then you have to look at the full map.

I just clicked on edit settings and selected the FF13 profile, changed nothing, closed it, set it to open with windows, launched the game and it picked it up automatically.

What is this deactivate/activate thing? Do I need to purchase this?
