Gaming on a 21:9, 2560 x 1080 Monitor

Been fancying the LG for a bit and with the great info in this thread i was wondering would my PC be able to run games on it ok. I got a r9 280 with 4 gigs of ram and a AMD FX 4100 quad core processor and 8 gigs of ram.

I mainly play games like skyrim, fallout 3 etc on a 24 inch 1080p monitor. Would they still be playable on a larger screen :)

Skyrim + Fallout 3 will be fine they arent very demanding unless you use a lot of mods on Skyrim that is but you do not need much AA @ 2560x1080 I think an R9 280 will be ok.

IMO the 29" is the sweet spot for these. Right price, only a little bit more than the 25" yet bigger and the 34" is nearly double the price for the same resolution yet spread over a bigger screen so dot pitch suffers.

Thanks for the advice and thanks nexus18 for the review, hoping to have enough money for christmas for one of these. I have been a good boy this year so gonna keep my fingers crossed :), even better if it ends up on TWO as well :D

I know a few things about these here ultra wide monitor jobbies. They're a bit alright aren't they :D
