H97 motherboard with a GTX980?

Looking at doing a new build with the following mobo and a GTX 980 reference card - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-274-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2813

What do people reckon on this? Will such a powerful card be okay on that board?

Just FYI I was going to couple it with an i7 4790K, H90 and 8GB Vengeance. Any opnions/ recommendations?

Does it have to be a Micro ATX Motherboard ? OR can you fit a full ATX board in your case ?

Also you do realise Z97 chipset supports CPU overclocking, while the H97 chipset does not. So maybe look for a Z97 board as you are wanting to use it with a i7 4790K which is unlocked for overclocking.

I'm using a Define Mini so it has to be Micro ATX I prefer micro-atx anyway.

Yes it will be fine what you picked. Just remember you won't be able to overclock your CPU and SLI.

Yeah I'm not bothered about SLI and the CPU comes clocked at 4ghz anyway which is good for me. Thanks for your help!
