iPhone 6 Cases & Accessories

I've just received my Apple (official) leather case for my 6plus and it's really lovely. The leather has a great 'premium' feel and the damn thing no longer slips out of my hand! Highly recommended.

I'm struggling to decide on going with either the silicone or the leather for my 6+

What colour case did u go for and what colour is your 6+?

Ewwwww gold :p

On a more constructive note, I've ordered that 0.3mm case. I don't normally use one, but the fact it adds barely any bulk swayed me.

I am using a Joli pouch for the time being though. Estimated delivery for the 0.3mm case was "dispatches 20th October" :( grim.

I went for the olive brown leather one on a white 6+ - very nice combination actually. The brown is much darker than the one for the 5/5S so shouldn't get so grubby.

If you're near an Apple store they should have a display showing all the colours - the dark blue looks pretty good too.

Got fed up with waiting for Spigen to change from 'pre-order' on all of their cases on their site, along with them not being available direct from Amazon any more (couldn't see them anyway). So went into the Apple store after work, first time I've been in the store here, disliked it, packed and staff not even interested in taking my money for an overpriced case.

I looked at the silicone and the leather for my 6, both seemed perfectly good and usable (albeit slightly expensive). Looking at the colours though I was disappointed. I'd flicked through them online for both leather and silicone and had decided on the black silicone. Once in store and looking at them though, the black silicone was a very dark grey and the black leather was black, not being a fan of the grey colour I stumped up the extra £10 for the leather.

No pics but it's a very nice case, feels great in hand and makes my space grey phone pretty much a black phone which is great. Downside though is it appears to collect pocket dust where the edges meet the glass of the phone making the phone look a tad grubby.

Apple silicon case in white

I've only had it a week, it is still white but I can foresee it getting dirty in not too distance future. It adds grip but somehow still kind of velvety like texture to the feel so in a way it is still slippery.

New Tech21 bumper

It is a bit loud in the colours but it protects the phone very well and not much bigger than the Apple case. Not the most fashionable case out there but I think it offers the best impact protection.

Thanks for the pics Raymond. Real life pics are always much more helpful than the rendered promotional pics.

No problem

I have discovered a downside to the Tech21 case, the bottom where it has 3 holes for the headphone, lightning and speaker with a strip of rubber in between, that means it won't work on docks or the Lightning adaptor.

But i have no docks so not a problem and I am not scared about dropping it anymore.

What tempered glass screen protectors are people using?

The girlfriend has a spigen glas.tr and its not even wide enough to cover the actual screen. I realise that the edges of the phone are curved which is a bit of a challenge for glass protectors, but not covering the screen is a bit poor.

The iloome one is supposed to have complete coverage but it hasn't been released yet - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NYCC7...UTF8&colid=BYJMBA2VVCBD&coliid=I29J4ER37OZO4H

That seems to have a black lip on it and will effect a lot of cases.
Would a case with the lip and normal glass screen protector not do?

Looks like it's available to order but a bit pricey and even more so with £8.44 postage.
Seems to be the biggest gripe is the fact that most if not all don't cover the whole screen.

I did think that it might not work very well with a case that has a lip, and £8.50 delivery for a screen protector is laughable.

I was just disappointed that the spigen protector didn't cover the whole screen, it leaves gaps at either side that you can't help but look at.
