Had my old samsung 206bw for ages and i think it's time it was put to rest

I have done a small bit of research into a new monitor and really don't know where to concentrate my efforts on.

I have a budget upto £250 but would rather keep it around £200. 27" would be great. I don't watch films, just You Tube. I do play games and plan to use engineering software so would need to show detail...

Can you guys recommend me a good panel for the price.
