Ryse: Son Of Rome. PC

Crytek is not a friend in need, its a business that's being shafted by its crazy CEO and the desire to swap out what they know with a naff free to play model.

Its a simple game, lots of hacking and slashing. The graphics are pretty damn good, Crytek have a solid graphics engine for this.

Its very cinematic and the combat system is sleek therefore easy to get the hang of. I loved it on the XB1 so to play it again but with even sharper graphics is a win win for me.

this games visuals are insane

its not all that bad, it aint great by any stretch of the imagination, but it's fine to veg out to for some mindless brutality. And I love the artwork, can get into the period a little and enjoy the scenery.

I must be the only person in the world that think this game is incredible. Graphics are just mind blowing. Find myself laughing at the screen. Obviously I can see the point of things being very samey samey but that's cool with me. I didn't expect deep mechanics or a free roaming world. Hacking and slashing and perving at the eye candy made this a worthwhile buy.

Played the first 10mins - got to say it is stunning.

Enjoy the cut and slash type games so will be playing the life out of this!

I really enjoyed game, visually stunning and a good story, my only gripes are the boss fights are mind numbingly repetitive and that FOV at times .

I also am enjoying the game, i don't need very end to have in depth or open world game play, when you get older you have less time to game and sometimes just want easy to play arcade if you like combat and graphics, which this is.

Question
If i enable vsync fraps reports 55fps,,?
i thought vsync on fraps would show 30fps or 60, any ideas?
