Things you dont care for that most others do ! ?

Social media
99% of TV
I get really frustrated with people still going on about things days after it happened how many times can people talk about same thing
Football i just do not get why anyone likes it, it is like watching small kids playing breaking out in tears if the get touched by another
Cars do not waste so much money on a car if you are going to cry about every speck of dust that touches it a car is just a tool for getting you from A to B

Professional foolball, just don't get it. For the most part a game is boring plus the fans going on about the game like they were actually playing and are more expert than those involved.
I like playing some sport but the whole football culture is a mystery to me.

Funerals and mortality. I believe when you die thats it, no after life, nothing, you just end. Religious stuff is just a construct to make us less afraid of this. Also the way when somebody dies they become likend to a saint, recent family deaths of people who were really rather unpleasent but now they are remembered as it seems the oppasite.

Weddings. I listen to young girls in my family talking about there dream wedding and can't help but feel that the event overshaddows the praticality and commitment of getting married. Seems to be ground into girls from an early age that they must get married but how many last and how much money do they spend on this "dream" day. I'd rather have a decent holiday with the other half and do the deed and come back and post it on facebook so the family know if i'm honest.

iPhones and other Apple products, prices can be extortionate and I think they're overrated. Happy with my nokia e 5 since I got it 3 years ago.

1. Sports in general, more specifically watching sports.
2. Soaps.
3. Reality TV (or most TV).
4. Celebrities.
5. Excessive social media use.
6. Fads/trends.

Life in general,

I do not cherish life, I am extremely practical about death and shock people with my 'numbness' on people who are close to me passing.

we live, then we die, all this big funeral nonsense and drinks with tears just winds me up.

I can relate to this, it's all just part of life.

Sports - Why some people feel they are 'part' of the team and get so emotional over it doesn't make any sense to me!

Fame / Celebs - Don't get me wrong, I'd be star struck if I saw / spoke to some ACTUAL famous person, but I don't go reading about them and getting involved in their PRIVATE lives.

Instagram / Snapchat - Seriously? Why do people feel the need to send / take pictures all the time!

Ties - pointless colour ribbon around my neck, should put in your hair and make a bow.
Pocket square hankerchief - another pointless addition to suit outfit.
Tight jeans - Just not comfortable and they look terrible on men.
Non-Reality Reality TV - xfactor, big brother, just not entertaining in the slightest. cringe-worthy most of the time and i don't get how people like to see others fail and make a fool of themselves as entertainment.
Aggression over football - i get liking football and all that but to have to separate the away fans and prevent them from going to pubs at away games, its just realy pathetic. Other sports like rugby you sit next to the opponents fans and afterwards you go down and have a drink with them. Not in uk football.
Sushi - Just doesn't taste nice and its annoying to look at it.

Spelling/grammar errors. So many people in the office will quickly follow up an email with a second just to correct a typing error that was obvious to work out what they were trying to say.

So much this especially about the bad being remembered as saints gets me in trouble often pointing out what used to be obvious to all others

The use, during an argument, of strawman as a verb. I'll accept "You are presenting a strawman" I will not accept "Lolz, you strawmanning me bro?". I have an irrational dislike for the word "strawmanning" in particular.

I need to leave this thread, I'm turning into a grumpy old man.

Another one I'm stuggling with is golf.

I like the idea of golf, but it's just so damn hard. I don't see how people are able to spend so much money, year after year, looking like a ****, getting frustrated , fumbling around for their balls in some dyke or rough bush.
