Things you dont care for that most others do ! ?

Cars are definitely one of mine. Im always baffled at people who are mid-to late 20's, living at home with their parents, yet have spent £20-£30K on a new car - rather than move out.

I agree, just plain bizzare how much money people spend on something that with depreciate faster than a blink of an eye.

Yet we are all computer enthusiasts spending money on hardware that will be too slow in a couple of years. :p

Cars are something we spend a lot of time in, and feeling their power, enjoying good audio, or making it a thing you find beautiful are not past-times to sneer at. That said, I would rather invest my money into other things that give me equal joy for less outlay. But if I was rich...

Football, on the other hand, is way overrated.

Actually I want to amend my comment about not being bothered about famous people. If they have genuinely done something to deserve it (such as Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins) then I would very much like to meet them.

But a TV reality star or singer? Not so much.

Just reading through this thread I can agree with...

Expensive watches
Celebrity 'culture'
Facebook/social media
Apple products
Breaking Bad
Shopping
Fashion

There's probably more.

Nope, I last paid for a computer upgrade in 2009, and I paid for fairly low end hardware.

I'm not against people buying expensive cars if they can afford it, it the people that spend. Ore I a car than their annual salary or spend a fortune on a car instead of buying a house

Children.

Money grabbing noisy grim things that only serve to make the parents overly self-important.

This is usually necessity, showing takes around 100th of the time of bathing :p I wouldnt fancy running and then taking a bath every morning at 6am before going to the office!

While the time factor does come in to it (I shower more often now I have a long commute) there are people that do it out of choice; some claim it is cleaner that being sat in your own dirt, and you see posts from people saying they haven't taken a bath in months/years and I refuse to believe anyone can be that busy (if they are, they wouldn't have time to post on online forums). I was watching a property tv the show the other day and they extended their house to have 4 'bathrooms' but no baths.

like me I am sure there are people who are way too tall for a bath and cannever fully submerge, atleast below the neck anyways.

Grudges, never been one to hold one. Don't see the point. I'm very straight forward, if I don't like someone, I don't bother with them. If they annoyed me and are sorry for it, then fair is fair. I've never once held a grudge against someone, takes too much effort to do so.

Music concerts.

I absolutely love music. But live music just doesn't do it for me generally. Every time I go to a concert, it's not long before my feet hurt, I'm tired/bored, annoyed by drunk dickheads and I want to leave. I enjoy the music, but I'm always stood there thinking that I could quite easily be enjoying the music, elsewhere, in better quality, and without feeling so ****** off otherwise. I can't remember the last time I went to a concert where, come the end, I wasn't actually relieved. Everyone else is shouting for "one more song!" and I'm praying they don't bother.

I think the only concerts I have genuinely and properly enjoyed from start to finish have been the few Muse gigs I've gone to. Not only as they are one of my favourite bands, but they do a cracking live show. But even then, I think I was perfectly satisfied by 1.5 - 2 hours of music. Which is why when I hear people get all misty eye about rock concerts that went on for hours and hours, I think to my self, I can't think of anything worse.

I went to a distant worlds concert, audience quiet and the live music was to die for. Very good concert.

Children. There is far too many people having them. We don't need them. They are vile little things and cause quite a noise and disrupt people who don't care for them when they are trying to do the things they want to do.

When I was a boy, my parents or nobody I can think of took tiny tots to places like restaurants at 8pm at night or later when grown ups wanted to have a normal quiet time. Or they never rendered local coffee shops a creche at any hour of the day on any day of the week.

Brats seem to fill the entire world and nothing is out of bounds for their presence any more. They are absolutely everywhere, getting in the way with their stupid push about devices, snotty noses and worst of all, their cringy high pitched noises that not even a wild boar could make.

I don't like them. Or sheeple who all have to have them. Go away.
