Things you dont care for that most others do ! ?

Entitlement was the word I was searching for. I have zero issue with people through circumstance who have been born into wealth of have had it thrust on to them. That is just one of those things and they are lucky. I have massive problems with people who feel entitled to things without working for them.

I was fortunate to be born into a relatively wealthy family but I do not in any way feel entitled to any of it. The wealth is fathers and not mine. I still want to work for my own living

televised sport/sport games [can understand the love of the physical sport ie doing it, its just the obsession with watching it]

celebrities who seem to only be famous for being famous

fake tan

night clubs

the obsessive use of the phrase 'all the content you love' in every gadget/service announcement around these days.

1. Fake tans - what is that about?
2. Soccer/football - boring and the allegiance of random fans to random millionaires is beyond me
3. The apparent sense of entitlement that young people have these days - that the "deserve" things rather than accepting they should work harder and "earn" those things
4. X-Factor, Strictly, Britains got Talent et al - garbage TV.

I really mean the word relatively.

My father is not a billionaire and we don't live in a mansion!

well thats probably where the line seems to be drawn. I suppose its more dependant if you dad was born into it too. If you havent experienced poverty and have been a millionaire all your life you tend to be very stuck up (most people anyways)

I would say my dad earns a middle class wage not too bad and not amazing. Its a shocker when you moev out and are suddenly supporting yourself on

This just sounds like a "I hate things" thread in disguise.

I'll play anyway.

Internet arguments: They go on and on and on and on in circles but in the end it just turns into hot air. People are too stubborn to admit being wrong and people are too arrogant to think they can change someones opinion.

Want, want, want: Gotta have dat phone. Gotta have dat house. Gotta have dat car. Gotta have dat cheese burgur. Gotta catch'em all. You don't have to buy everything the TV tells you too.

That's all I can be bothered with right now. :p

you sir are rare, as far as my experience and observations go

Mixed in my book. I too have a relatively well off dad but he was self made and we had not a penny to rub together when I was younger. I have also never asked him for anything bar advice and have never worked for him or through a role he helped me get.

I have over the years met some incredibly wealthy people of all ages and in the main the younger ones (now in their 20's) have surprised me with their humble nature in the main. One or two are full of it of course and others may act like they are accustomed to things most aren't, but in the main this is done through not knowing better rather than trying to big it up.

Don't agree with this at all. I've seen plenty of Internet arguments that ended in a civil manner, after each argument was presented concisely and the most convincing one won.

It depends where you look.

I've seen plenty of both, but certainly many more which go nowhere.

Social media like facebook , twitter and internet forums

Nah nah nah - you're either a Facebook/Twitter person, or you're a forum person but not both. For me, I've always been a forum person. I tried FB for 3 years, just found it impersonal. At least on forums, people take the time to type up a response.

Things I couldn't care less about:

- the fascination over anorexia-advocating size 0 models

- My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (difficult one as it's hard to avoid even if you're searching for unrelated franchises)

- people who write deviantART journals threatening to leave dA, only for them to u-turn a day later. Repeat, repeat so that they can get attention from their 100+ asslickers (oh sorry, I mean 100+ 'followers')

- mentioned already: most chart music nowadays. Too much X Factor etc. Bring back dance vs indie from the 90s :-)

- players on World of Warcraft who brag about their "zomg epix". Fact is, epic gear is handed out on a plate these days. Try bragging about it 8 years ago
