I know the Gigabyte is perhaps seen as the best one by gamers as its overclocked, but I swear I've read somewhere that for video editing its recommended not to overclock it?

Anyone got any knowledge on this, that could perhaps recommend me a decent brand? Don't really care so much on price as its all much of a muchness!

Which editing package? They all vary in the support they have for Cuda/OpenCL acceleration. Without that, your "editing" isn't going to see much speed up from the graphics card. TBH, I've found that masses of RAM and a speedy CPU have much more effect. Even with 32GB of RAM, I still find it exhausted pretty rapidly with any more than a few minutes worth of raw HD video loaded.

Just go for a 970 that is quiet, then it won't annoy you or get in the way of your audio work on your videos. I have the MSI 970 (at stock clocks) and find it great for use outside of gaming. Very quiet too.

I would choose the one with the most port options, ie. the Gigabyte (big) or PNY (small). You get three DP, 1 HDMI, and one or two DVI, you cannot beat that duo in port arrangement.
