if they don't make the speakers stereo they're actually idiots.
why?
for most people who cares, its a phone. if they are watching films or listening to music they are using earphones.

Because the phone has TWO speakers but if they enable only one for audio like they did on the Moto X they're idiots.
The speaker thing confuses me a bit, but having read comments and reviews regarding other phones recently it does seem important to a lot of people, so they would probably be silly to neglect it.
I'm guessing the camera won't be awful, but will merely be adequate like the last two. In a way I'm happy if they only release the large one as it will get me to go for something different. My theory with the camera has generally been that it doesn't matter as if I want to take decent photos I'll use a real camera, but my phone is always with me and there are times when I think I'd really like to be able to capture a better image.

The Moto X (2014) has two speaker grilles yet only one is enabled for audio. The Moto G (2014), the cheaper of the two, does have both speakers enabled for audio. It makes literally zero sense. ZERO.
The Nexus 6 will have the same speaker arrangement as the Moto X (2014). If they're not idiots they'll enable both for audio.

really??? ill confess i was never very intersted in the x so never paid it much attention. i know the n5 had 2 "speaker grills" and people got ****ed that sound only came out one side. never heard anything of this sort about the x.

Earpiece for voice calls.
IMO, yes! If the next nexus is bigger than 5"2 I'm going with z3!

I've got a Moto X on pre order form Amazon. If the battery life is good enough to last 1 day its an solid choice. Theres some parts of sonys software that **** me off, and you can unlock the bootloader without losing the DRM stuff for the camera.

hmm. while ill certainly say a grill does not a speaker make but....... if the bottom one is the "speaker" and the has to be a speaker in the top too for listening to calls then it does seem silly not to.
are you sure that the grill at the bottom isnt just the mic with a big grill to match visually?

Nope 100% sure it's a speaker. Look up the specs on Google, if you're doubting me.
