Hi,

This sku was built exclusively for OCUK to offer a slightly scaled down version of the current V2 model that sells around £1,799.

The V3 model due later this year with 9 series graphics (in SLI of course), will be priced much nearer to £2,000.

The product we offered to OcUK to sell @ £1,599 is a special created to offer a keener price point to OcUK customer in the run-up to the festive season:-)

The launch price of £1,499 for pre-orders, really is a SUPER SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE type thing,,, !!! :-)

Title says i7-4860 but spec says 4700. Which is it? Other than that I see the 2 SSDs instead of 3 and and 1600MHz RAM instead of 1866 is that right?

It is something of great value :) It WAS i7-4710HQ (the spec shall change later today), but we did a FREE upgrade and made a jump to i7-4860HQ! So it will be 4860HQ no doubt ;)

As for the SSDs, yes you're correct X7 v2-CF2 comes with 2 SSD and 1600MHz RAM

3 SSD's is massive overkill for most applications, definitely not needed for gaming.

2x128 in Raid0 plus a 7200rpm storage drive is great. Even that is kinda overkill for most things.

As Kitkat has said,,, we aim to be selling the Pro with SLI GTX970M @ £2,000

OcUK will be first to have the newest generation, so watch this space.
